Cultural experience
Cook Ugandan food with Aine.
A hands-on local cooking experience — near the Shoebill Sanctuary.
Discover Uganda through one of the most direct ways possible: its food.
Aine has a demanding professional life as a police officer, but cooking has always been one of her great passions. Known for her natural talent in the kitchen, she hosts small group cooking experiences where visitors can learn how to prepare Ugandan dishes in a real local kitchen.
This is not a cooking demonstration. Guests take part in preparing the food, learning about ingredients, techniques and the everyday traditions behind the dishes.
Once the cooking is finished, the meal you have prepared becomes part of your experience — enjoyed together as lunch or dinner depending on your safari itinerary and the option booked.
